Sailing for Change
In partnership with Providence Sailing for Change brings sailors, artists, audiences and nonprofits together, using music and creativity to navigate towards a better future. Music is the heartbeat of social change, and sailing is the most sustainable way to connect communities together.
Farmer.Sailor.Chef
This is a passion project of chef Kyle Gerrard Green Artichoke and Captain Simon, join them on their voyage of discovery aboard Providence as they seek out people pioneering regenerative food systems across the Salish Sea.
Weddings on Providence
If you’re planning a wedding or elopement on Providence our partners at Folklore Wedding Company, can help with the details such as wedding media, curation, planning and catering.
ZEP Project
In partnership with Canadian Electric Vehicles (CanEV), Canada’s longest-running and leading electric vehicle conversion firm, we have been awarded a funding contract by Transport Canada to demonstrate an innovative hybrid/electric zero emissions propulsion system for Providence. The project is in final design and procurement stages and we will be starting the major refit of Providence at the end of our 2026 season. Stay tuned!

Shelter Island Marina
Shelter Island Marina is the Flagship Sponsor for Providence providing annual haul out and yard services that are essential to maintaining a classic wooden vessel. This fresh Water Marina offers 75 and 220 ton travelift’s, the Largest Travelifts on the Pacific Coast lifting vessels 20'-130'. Boat storage, boatyard moorage on-site, and more.

CanEV
Canadian Electric Vehicles (CanEV), Canada’s longest-running and leading electric vehicle conversion firm, has been awarded a $1 million contract by Transport Canada to demonstrate an innovative hybrid sail/electric commercial marine zero emissions propulsion system operating on the country’s west coast.
Vancouver Maritime Museum
For over 60 years, the Vancouver Maritime Museum has been sharing stories about the Pacific Northwest and the Arctic and creating experiences that build bridges between the past and future. From a unique waterfront location in Vancouver, we welcome visitors to explore exhibitions and take part in programs about life on and around the Pacific Northwest and Arctic oceans.
